Welcome to Pack 112!
We have a special page for New Scouts... it's a great place to get started!
Cub Scouting is a fun and educational activity for boys (and their families). Cubs play games, do hands on activities, and get outside as much as we can. Pack 112 is a very active outdoor unit, with at least four camping trips planned every year, not to mention hikes, Field Day, and a variety of other activities.
"The spirit is there in every boy; it has to be discovered and brought to light."
Lord Robert Baden-Powell
Cub Scouting is for boys in the first through fifth grade, and we make certain that all our activities are age appropriate. So while a Tiger Cub (first grade) might do a craft project with an adult helper, a Webelos II is learning first aid. Each boy will benefit from the fun activities presented to him.
Scouting is About the Outdoors
Pack 112 stays very active in the outdoors. We try to bring the boys outside as much as possible, from simply having meetings outside (in decent weather), to hiking, camping and service projects. One of our favorite activities is camping, for more info, check out our Camping section.
Scouting is about family, too. Pack 112 has a lot of 'scout buddies' - siblings of scouts that accompany us on activities, camping trips, and other outings. All are welcome to every one of our meetings and activities.
